Your health information. Health information you provide to us as a patient or prospective patient, including information submitted on our New Patient Intake Form, is protected health information. We handle it as required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA). Our Notice of Privacy Practices describes how we use and disclose that information and your rights. A copy is available at our office or by calling (562) 415-8209. If this policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices conflict regarding your health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed for the purposes above, including with:
- Service providers that operate the Website and our forms on our behalf, such as our website host, our secure database and file storage provider (Supabase), and our email delivery provider (Resend). They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Google, which provides the fonts used on the Website and, if you choose a language option, the translation service. When translation is used, the page content is sent to Google to be translated.

Text Messages
If you agree to receive text messages, we use your mobile number only to communicate with you about your requests, appointments, and care. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in access-restricted systems. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Standard email and text messages are not fully secure. Please avoid sending detailed health information by email or text unless we have arranged a secure method with you.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep patient records for as long as required by California law and professional regulations governing chiropractic records. Website inquiries that do not become part of a patient record are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and for our business records, and are then deleted.

These rights are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
- Communications: you may opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and you may withdraw consent to calls or email by contacting our office.
- Other website information: you may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you submitted through the Website that is not part of your medical record. We will respond as required by applicable law. Some information must be kept to meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
- Cookies: you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent the language option from working.
To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children’s Privacy
The Website is not directed to children under 13, and children should not submit information through it. Forms for patients who are minors should be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
