Our Commitment

Dr. Delicia Paredes Chiropractic is committed to making DeliciaChiro.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We want every patient and visitor to be able to learn about our practice, request appointments, and complete our forms.

Accessibility Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

What We Have Done

• Structured pages with headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them;
• Provided text alternatives for meaningful images;
• Labeled form fields and provided clear error messages that explain how to fix a problem;
• Made date fields typeable (MM/DD/YYYY) in addition to offering a calendar, so dates can be entered without a mouse;
• Designed pages to work on phones, tablets, and computers, and to support browser zoom and larger text;
• Offered the Website in English and Spanish; and
• Provided an accessibility toolbar on our homepage for adjusting text size, contrast, and other display settings.

Known Limitations and Alternatives

Some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to improve them, and we offer alternatives in the meantime:

• Signature boxes on the New Patient Intake Form require drawing with a mouse, finger, or stylus. If you cannot use them, call us and we will help you complete and sign your forms in the office.
• Body diagram: marking pain areas on the body diagram is optional. You can describe your symptoms in the text fields or tell the doctor at your visit.
• Translations are generated automatically by Google Translate and may not be fully accurate. Spanish-speaking patients are welcome to call the office for help.
• Third-party content, such as Google Maps, is provided by others and may not meet the same standards.

• Ask for forms or information in an alternative format; or
• Complete your paperwork in our office with assistance.
